Selain memperkenalkan Xperia Ray, di ajang CommunicAsia 2011, vendor patungan Jepang-Swedia ini juga merilis Xperia Active. Sebuah smartphone Android yang ditujukan bagi pengguna yang memiliki gaya hidup sporty.
Tak heran jika Xperia active diklaim memiliki kelebihan seperti anti terhadap debu dan air plus layar anti gores dengan dukungan ‘wet finger tracking’. Alhasil layar sentuhnya tetap dapat bekerja dengan baik meski jari pengguna dalam keadaan berkeringat.
Untuk memberikan performa terbaiknya, Xperia active dipersenjatai dengan prosesor 1 GHz Snapdragon. Ukuran layarnya 3 inchi Reality Display berteknologi Mobile BRAVIA Engine, dengan resolusi HVGA (480 x 320 pixels).
